Abby Beth Carter

Hi! I’m Abby…My passion is using unconventional tools to free up energy in mind + body + spirit. I have a flair for making nervous system healing FUN. I love to rock the boat with what I explore and share with others, whether it’s a group mindfulness training (like R&R, my 12 week group for burnout prevention), a restorative yoga class, laughter meditation, or a group tarot reading. I pair energetic healing work with somatic, body based nervous system practices to bridge the gap between science and spirituality. I also wrote and published Coach Yourself to Flourish: A self-coaching program using mind-body interventions to help you thrive.I hold numerous advanced training certifications in a variety of healing modalities, including yoga, meditation, reiki, energy healing and mindfulness. Below are a few:🌟 Master’s of Science in Mind-Body Medicine from Saybrook University🌟 Advanced trainings from the Center for Mind-Body Medicine🌟 Laughter Yoga Certified Leader Training from Laughter Yoga International🌟 Registered Yoga Teacher and continuing education provider for Yoga Alliance Download my free guide, Unconventional Support for the Waves of Grief! www.abbybethcarter.com.

OUR Energetic Signature a collective offering Hello lovelies 💐, I'll keep this short and sweet because mercury retrograde is still in effect and technology + communication has been a struggle (getting your wires crossed? packages delayed? orders missing? texts forgotten/unanswered? get locked out? 🫨). If you've been keeping an eye on my year-long energetic mentorship (Your Energetic Signature "YES"), I have a new, more accessible offering launching in January that is sure to carry you through...

Tarot with Abby

TL;DR (but hope you do), I’ll be opening my schedule in August for emailed + recorded tarot readings! If you want to join the list and be the first to know, you can do that here. Hey, Reader, Today I'm talking all about Tarot. Let’s get a few things out of the way upfront: Tarot in and of itself is not fortune-telling, scary, or a predictor of anything. It’s a set of cards with images on them and is what you make of it. I approach tarot in a medicinal way -sort of like an herbalist working...

Greetings friends! Since I’ve taken a step back from social media, I’ve decided to send a lil 5-part email series to connect and share with you. My “work” is ever evolving as I continue to receive life lessons and dive into new modalities and ventures. My latest loves are tarot (per usual), parts work (IFS), and cranial sacral therapy with an undercurrent of mind-body medicine. On to part 1 of this series... Isn’t it interesting how the Universe will send you lessons whether you want them or...

Abby Beth Carter www.abbybethcarter.com Lil update If you haven’t noticed, I’ve been taking some space from social media. Life has been full - in a good way - and instead of forcing an “online presence,” I’ve been following the flow, which has led me away from posting. However, I have been thinking about my peeps (that’s you!) on my email list and want to stay connected here. So while I don’t have any mind-blowing updates or fun announcements, I thought I’d say hi and share a light email...

Finally, our days are getting “longer” and spring is officially here! The Spring Equinox marks the magic of day and night being equal length. I’ve been thinking a lot about duality lately, the whole “light and dark”, “good versus evil”, “light vs shadow”, right/wrong, etc. etc. All of these dichotomies breed...

As much as I try to focus on joy, grief is the elephant in the room. Asking (or rather, demanding), to be seen, felt, heard, witnessed. Don’t push me down it says. Don’t look the other way, it begs. Let me be here. Let me take up space. My dad died over 6 years ago...

Welcome to another installment of The Sunday Slow-Down, my weekly(ish) newsletter where I share stories, tips, and unconventional tools to help you tap into joy, even when times are tough. Autumn is here! Happy October! Lately I’ve been thinking a lot about joy and how critical it is to cultivate joy, especially during difficult times. Reminder: You are absolutely worthy of experiencing joy. The idea of rest as an act of resistance and joy as an act of justice are movements I'm passionate...
